Yammi is an app, based on a community social service, which aims to create a network of support and mutual help for families that have just expanded.
The app connects new moms with volunteers who help prepare food and bring it to the their homes in the first two weeks after giving birth.

Today’s new moms are so preoccupied that if they remember to eat, it's grabbing leftovers from the fridge. Adapting to the new situation, to a small human being linked to them, combined with a lack of sleep is exhausting, and at the moment of truth they give up on themselves, especially when it comes to preparing nourishing and homemade cooked food.

Adi is at the end of the third trimester of her first pregnancy, just a few days from birth, married to her partner Erez and living in Beit Yitzhak. Adi is a stressed and slightly hysterical person by nature. She has read every possible book about pregnancy and took care of all things related to the birth ahead of time, in order to ease herself and be as prepared as possible for the exciting event.

Aviv is a very busy person, works at a High-Tech company located in Tel Aviv, exercises 3 times a week and regularly picks up his daughter from kindergarten every Tuesday. Despite all that, he doesn’t give up his passion for cooking! Every Friday he goes into the kitchen and doesn't leave until all the dishes are ready and the house is filled with wonderful smells.
